Goodwill Garden Registration Open
February 1 @ 8:00 am - May 4 @ 5:00 pm
Want to grow your own fresh, healthy, organic veggies, but you don’t have space? We’ve got your covered. You can rent garden plots at the Goodwill Community Garden, located inside Heritage Park between the Knopf House Historical Museum and the Taylor Conservatory. The Goodwill Garden is supported by the 23rd District Court and offers plots to residents of Downriver, and provides thousands of pounds of fresh, organic produce to Fish and Loaves Food Pantry as well.
Each garden plot includes water, compost, and woodchips. You do not need to be a resident of Taylor to rent a garden plot. Registration opens February 1. You can download an application here.
