Fun with Winter Seed Sowing and Plant Seed Swap!

February 23 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$10.00

Winter…the time of year when most of us dream of our lush gardens, flip through seed catalogs and count the days until we can get our hands in the dirt.  You don’t have to wait any longer, with this fun and informative class, followed by a Seed Swap! When we say fun, we mean it!  Taught by Monica Milla, queen of fun, flamingoes, and flowers. (She is also a Master Gardener, Master Composter, garden writer and author).

Fun with Winter Seed Sowing teaches you how to successfully start seeds to survive and get a head start on growth during the winter.  There’s no need for a greenhouse or grow lights, you’re not limited by indoor space restrictions, and your seedlings will be hardened off and ready to plant. You’ll learn what plants to sow, what containers to use, how to care for the seeds, and how and when to transplant the seedlings. Your $10 fee includes hot and cold refreshments, snacks, handouts, a door prize ticket, and admittance to the Seed Swap!
