Tree Lighting Ceremony and Bonfire!

November 24, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us to welcome in the Holiday season.  We will kick off our Garden Lights Aglow display with lights, music, and a big bonfire, great for roasting marshmallows.  Warm up with hot chocolate and cookies, and we will countdown and light the tree. And...a visit from Santa, too!  Free.

Goodwill Garden Registration Open

Want to grow your own fresh, healthy, organic veggies, but you don't have space?  We've got your covered.  You can rent garden plots at the Goodwill Community Garden, located inside Heritage Park between the Knopf House Historical Museum and the Taylor Conservatory. The Goodwill Garden is supported by the 23rd District Court and offers plots to residents of Downriver, and provides thousands of pounds of fresh, organic produce to Fish and Loaves Food Pantry as well. Full Moon Bonfire

Join us for a couple of hours socializing in the great outdoors around the bonfire at the Taylor Conservatory.  We'll turn on the holiday lights for the final time and enjoy your company with hot chocolate with marshmallows.  Dress for the weather and we will NOT hold the event if it is raining.
