The Gardens are a beautiful place for a group visit. We pride ourselves on our beautiful, creative and well-labeled plantings.
Join us for a guided tour through our many blooming flowers and immaculate facilities. Tours are given from June through October when the garden is fully planted and maximum blooms. Each tour will include a history of the gardens and a view of:
- The Main Entrance Garden
- Conservatory Plantings
- Terrace Containers
- Knot Garden Plantings
- Woodland Garden
- The Woods (optional)
- Community Garden (optional)
Group Docent-Guided Tours
Are one hour in length and can be scheduled from 10-6 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Experienced and friendly docents lead your group and share their in-depth knowledge of the Gardens and its history. Our docents provide a unique and memorable experience.
Tour pricing: $5/person, $50 minimum. Includes 3 picnic tables and 1 hour for your snack or lunch. Note: there are no tours in the winter or spring season, as we are an outdoor facility.
Want a Box Lunch for your group?
You can bring your own lunch or we will provide you with a casual boxed lunch. This is a perfect ending to your tour and a chance to reminisce with your friends. The box lunch consists of a seasonal sandwich, pasta salad, lettuce, tomato, pickle, cookie and a bottle of water. Tours with box lunch: $17.00 per person
Can be scheduled from 10-6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, June-October. They are 30-45 minutes in length and include viewing and learning about cool, kid-friendly plants, watering plants, a race across the grand lawn, and a roll down Daffodil Hill (weather permitting).
Experienced and friendly docents lead your group and share their in-depth knowledge. Children must be accompanied by an adult and appropriate ratio of assistants.
