If you have ever seen a sunflower growing, you have probably seen honeybees buzzing around them, their legs thick with pollen.  In an effort to increase awareness of the plight of pollinators like the honeybee, the Taylor Conservatory is hosting a region wide Super Sunflower Challenge! Winterfest Parade, Tree Lighting and Bonfire

Check out our float entry in the city's Winterfest Parade. It's a Mardi Gras theme, kicking off our Mardi Gras Gala fundraiser in February, which benefits the gardens and programs at the Conservatory. After the parade (which starts at City Hall and ends at the Main Pavilion in Heritage Park) come on over to the Conservatory for our Annual Tree Lighting and Bonfire.  We'll have hot chocolate, marshmallows to roast, candy kids for the little ones and we'll light up…

Fit and Healthy at Home and in the Gardens
